In our previous post we let you know that Xiaomi is planning to launch something on April 25. Most people are of the opinion that it is the launch of the Mi 6X or Mi A2 in India, but the company itself hasn’t officially confirmed that. However, a new poster might be the confirmation that we all need.
The new teaser poster is shared on Xiaomi’s official Weibo page, Millet and shows the picture of Canadian-Chinese actor, Wu Yifan (Kris Wu) who is currently Xiaomi’s brand ambassador. The text on the poster reads “6X” and “Vision Impossible/AI See You”. Now this is what we all want to see and it’s officially confirmed that the Mi 6X is in existence. Although the poster doesn’t have the date of the event but we are pretty sure that the poster is tied to the upcoming launch.
The Xiaomi Mi 6X is expected to launch with a 5.99” FHD+ display. It is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with Qualcomm’s Artificial Intelligence Engine (AIE), 4GB/6GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.
It will have iPhone X or Xiaomi’s own Redmi Note 5 pro like dual rear cameras in a 12+20MP configuration and a 20MP selfie camera. To lit the screen it has a 2,910mAh battery.
Following the launch of the Mi 6X in Chinese market, the device should also launch in India and the rest of the world as the Mi A2 under the Android One program.
