After so much of leaks, renders and rumors Black Shark-The Gaming Mobile has been unveiled today from a firm that is backed by the Chinese tech Giant Xiaomi. It features the same green and black color theme that the Razer Phone feature but has better hardware. The Black shark features an advanced cooling system that will not force the gaming device to throttle under intensive use. So do you want to know more about this handset? Surely, you do. Xiaomi Black Shark Gaming Smartphone Specifications
Sporting a 5.99-inch display and a 2,160 x 1,080 resolution, the Black Shark continues to match the current trend. The handset’s can offer a peak brightness of 550 nits, a pixel density of 403ppi and has a color gamut that goes to 97 percent. Though the panel doesn’t have 120Hz refresh rate ( present in the Razer Phone), but it comes with Eye Protection Mode, MEMC smart motion technology, and image enhancement, which surely can amaze you.
Under the hood, it comes packed with Qualcomm’s latest, Snapdragon 845 chipset with 2.8GHz octa-core Kryo 385 CPU and Adreno 630 GPU. The platform is paired with 6GB of LP-DDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. Apart from the 6GB RAM variant, there’s a higher variant with 8GB of LP-DDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. As of now, the company hasn’t revealed about the Android version, but we expect it to be Android 8.0 or 8.1 Oreo.
The handset managed to score 279,464 points on Antutu. The phone is accompanied by ‘True Liquid Cooling’, which can bring down the temperature by up to 8 degree celsius. The device also has a fingerprint scanner at the front and the same can be used for Alipay and WeChat payments. On the right side, there’s a ‘Shark’ button and if by pressing that you can enter on to the high-performance gaming mode.
There’s also 12MP dual-camera combo at the rear with f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, and 4K video recording. At the front, there’s a 20MP camera with f/1.7 aperture. To keep the screen on, it has a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support through the USB Type-C port. The loudspeakers are placed besides the charging port. Along with the gaming smartphone, Black Shark has also introduced a gaming controller to enhance the overall gaming experience. The gaming controller can only be paired with the Black Shark device, and comes with a thumb pad for accurate gaming.

Moving onto the pricing the 6GB RAM variant costs CNY 2,999 (approximately, Rs. 31,175), while the 8GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 3,499 (approximately, Rs. 36,373). The gaming controller will be available in limited quantities and is priced at CNY 179 (approximately, Rs. 1,860).
