Xiaomi has recently confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on April 25 to unveil a new smartphone. There is a high possibility that Xiaomi may launch the rumored Mi 6X smartphone ( to be known as Mi A2 in India) as it has already been certified by the China’s telecom regulatory body- TENAA. Today, a website have revealed its key specs.
Specs listed on TENAA
According to the TENAA, there will be three RAM configurations: 4GB RAM + 32GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and also a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The device will sport a 5.99″ FHD+ (2160×1080) screen along with a 2,910 mAh battery. The device measures 158.88×75.54×7.3 (mm) and weighs 166g. The headphone jack is listed as a “shared” port with the charger, indicating that it’ll lack a 3.5mm jack.
Hardware

In terms of hardware, the Mi 6X will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 clocked at at 2.0GHz. It’ll continue to offer a microSD card slot for expandable storage. The panel will be IPS LCD. There’s no NFC present, but there is Xiaomi’s specific IR blaster.
Camera

In the Camera Department, the Mi6X/ Mi A2 will offer iPhone X like or it’s own Note 5 Pro like dual rear cameras and one selfie camera. The combo will consist of the Sony IMX 486 (12MP) sensor with f/1.8 aperture and the Sony IMX376 (20MP) sensor with f/1.8 aperture. For selfies, there will be a Sony IMX376 (20MP) sensor with f/2.2 aperture accompanied with a front-facing flash. The device will support 4K at 30fps video recording. There won’t be any optical zoom.
Software
The device is will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with MIUI 9 skin on the top.
