After the successful launch of Note 4 last year, Xiaomi could dispatch the Redmi Note 5 cell phone in Q2 this year.
After reports that Xiaomi would not dispatch a successor to a year ago’s Redmi Note 4, the Redmi Note 5 is clearly being tried inside and is relied upon to be propelled in the second quarter of 2018. The cell phone will be controlled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor. Bits of gossip likewise propose that the Redmi Note 5 will be valued higher than its Note 4 and to be estimated at CNY 1,599 (generally Rs. 15,700) for the base variant.
The release has apparently been delayed as Xiaomi is looking ahead to Qualcomm to announce its latest snapdragon 632 processor. The Snapdragon 632, holds the Qualcomm Spectra 160 ISP modem that is better optimised for dual camera setups.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 may keep running on MIUI 9 in view of Android 7.1 Nougat. The smartphone will sport a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. A current posting recommended that the device will come in two variations – 3GB RAM/32GB inbuilt storage and 4GB RAM/64GB inbuilt storage. It could be powered by a 4000 mAh battery.
On the camera front, the cell phone is said to pack a double camera setup on the back. Earlier reports have suggested an 8MP front-facing camera and 12MP dual rear camera.Insights about the dispatch of the Redmi Note 5 in India are yet to arrive but we can anticipate that it will come in the Indian market within a week of the announcement.
