Earlier this week, HMD Global launched its latest mid-range smartphone called Nokia X7 in China. The X7 is the first Nokia smartphone to come with the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform. Today, the Nokia 8.1 was spotted on Geekbench with the same Snapdragon 710 SoC. According to the listing, the device might be running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the box.
The Nokia 8.1 might soon launch as the successor to last year’s Nokia 8. However, the Nokia 8.1 packs Snapdragon 710, while the Nokia 8 came with the flagship Snapdragon 835 chipset.
The new 10nm Snapdragon 710 SoC on the Nokia 8.1 will come coupled with 4GB of RAM.
The Nokia 8.1 has scored 1841 on single core and 5807 on multi-core tests. However, there is no official confirmation about the launch of Nokia 8.1. But we expect the launch soon.
