Almost a month after unveiling the Apple iPhone XR alongside the and iPhone XS Max, the company now started accepting the pre-orders for the iPhone XR. The new Liquid Retina display present on the XR is rumored to be the reason for such a long delay. The device is now finally available to pre-order in India via offline and online stores.
The iPhone XR comes in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options and the base variant of the iPhone XR is priced at Rs 76,900 in India. The 128GB and 256GB storage variants of the iPhone XR costs Rs 81,900 and Rs 91,900 respectively. The iPhone XR comes in several color options namely, Yellow, White, Coral, Black, Blue, and PRODUCT (RED).
Just like the iPhone XS devices, the new iPhone XR also features an edge-to-edge display with a notch on the top. However, it uses an LCD panel and lacks 3D Touch support.
The device comes with an Aluminum frame and glass back body and comes powered by the all-new 7nm A12 Bionic chip featuring a 4-core GPU, 6-core CPU, and a dedicated 8-core Neural Engine.
At the rear, there’s a single 12MP camera with f/1.8 aperture, smart HDR, OIS, and quad-LED flash with Apple logo right in the middle! For selfies, there’s a 7MP selfie camera with a f/2.2 aperture along with a TrueDepth camera for FaceID.
The iPhone XR also offers stereo speakers and supports dual SIM dual standby. The pre-orders for the iPhone XR begins today and the shipping will start from 26th October.
