Xiaomi has released two new teasers for the upcoming Mi MIX 2S flagship smartphone. The new teasers are in the form of videos and reveals that the device is equipped with AI Face Unlock and its dual rear cameras will be able to identify various kinds of scenes to snap better photos.
According to the first video teaser the face unlock feature will be able to identify the user even if he is wearing a hat, wig, spectacles or any other cosmetic. Also, the age of the user will not stop it from unlocking the device. Going by the second teaser, it seems that dual cameras present on the device are its main USP.
According to recent leaks the design of the Mi MIX 2S will be resembling its predecessor a lot. The Mi MIX 2S is expected to come with dual rear cameras along with AI. Under the hood we are expecting the Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and a storage of 256 GB (the highest configuration model).
Xiaomi also confirmed through a teaser image that the Mi MIX 2S will support wireless charging. Rumors also suggest that the Sony IMX363 could be the primary camera sensor of the Mi MIX 2S. Firmware files also revealed that it will carry support for 1080p slow-motion video shooting at 120 fps and multi-frame noise reduction.
The Chinese giant has been consistently releasing teasers of the Mi MIX 2S. It is likely to reveal some more features of it before the device itself gets official on March 27.
