Smartron is the first homegrown brand which makes cellphones/ smartphones locally in India. The company as of now propelled two Android smartphones called t.phone and srt.phone. The Company on thursday ( Jan. 11,2018) launched its third and most affordable smartphone called tphone P. The Smartron tphone P is priced at Rs. 7,999 and will be sold by means of blaze deals only on Flipkart beginning January seventeenth. However, the device runs on the Android Nougat 7.1 with tronX UI and not on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. The device has huge 5,000mAh battery which can give more than 2 days of usage. The device also support OTG.
In terms of Optics, the Smartron tphone P accompanies a 13MP camera on the rear with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF and is equipped with a 5MP fixed focus camera with f/2.2 aperture lens, for selfies. Both the front and rear cameras are supported by a LED flash.

There is also a circular fingerprint sensor placed on the rear of the device. It measures 148.3 x 72.2 x 8.9 mm and weighs 160 grams.
