Xiaomi will dispatch the eagerly awaited Redmi Note 5 budget smartphone at some point in Q2 2018. Another teaser image of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is presently making headlines on the web. According to that image, this Redmi Note 5 sports thin bezels on the front, followed by a completely new rear design.
The Redmi Note 5 leaked in the past had a comparative similar design as the Redmi Note 4, but this new leak flaunts a totally new design. The top houses the front camera, sensors, and primary microphone, while the bottom bezel doesn’t include anything. Xiaomi has gone with on-screen navigation keys with it’s 18:9 display.
At the back of the device, we have a dual camera setup housed in a different module. Underneath the back camera setup, we have a fingerprint scanner, which is set in the same position as the past two Redmi Note smartphones.
On one side, this release looks great, and it will be awesome if Xiaomi manages to offer the same design. And, on another side, this smartphone doesn’t appear to be of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
The Redmi Note 5 is supposed to come out in Q2 2018 as Xiaomi is waiting for Qualcomm to announce the Snapdragon 632 SoC, which will be housed on the Note 5. A 5.99-inch Full HD+ display might also be available on the front of the smartphone, followed by dual back cameras and a selfie camera.
