Vivo V95 is the latest mid-range smartphone from Vivo which has been added to its Y Series. The device was recently leaked and now it is officially released in the Philippines. Moreover, the V95 is the same device that was released in China as Y93. The smartphone launched in Starry Black, Aurora Red color variants for a price of 13,999 Philippine Peso (approx Rs. 19,000) and in Malaysia.
The device sports a 6.22-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixel) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and there is also a water drop styled notch. Under the hood, the device has a Snapdragon 439 chipset with eight cores, four clocked at 1.95GHz and rest four at 1.45GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. This dual-SIM device that supports 4G VoLTE connectivity and has other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b.g.n, Bluetooth v4.2 LE, GPS, A-GPS and few more along with the sensors required for smooth running of the smartphone.
The smartphone will be coming with Android. 8.1 Oreo operating system based on the companies own Funtouch OS 4.5. On the rear, it has a dual camera setup with one 13MP primary camera sensor and secondary 2MP camera for depth sensing. On the front, there is a 20MP camera and the company claims it to come with many AI-enhanced features what includes face unlocking and Night Mode.
There is also a fingerprint sensor on the rear, that can enhance the security levels of the smartphone. To lit the screen on the Vivo Y95, there is a 4030mAh battery with smart-energy power management system. Nothing is mentioned about the global launch and pricing of this handset yet, and we can expect that to be announced soon by the company.
