Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its upcoming Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphone in India on November 22 and has also started sending invites for the launch event. In the invite, we can see a notch along the number 6, indicating the Note 6 Pro which has been in the leaks from the past few days. The handset will be going for sale in the country from November 23rd, which is just a day after the launch. The handset is expected to come in Blue, Black and Rose Gold color options and might be priced around Rs.15,000, but nothing is confirmed yet.
The upcoming Note 6 Pro device is expected to be sport a 6.26-inch 2280 x 1080 pixels Full HD+ Display with a 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, there is the same 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 509 GPU. It will come with Android 8.0 Oreo OS with MIUI 10 on top.
The device could support Hybrid Dual SIM slot. There is a 12MP main camera sensor on the rear with dual-tone LED flash and f/1.9 aperture size along with Dual PD focus and EIS, supported with a 5MP secondary camera. On the front, there is a 20MP Sony IMX376 sensor with F/2.0 aperture size supported with a secondary 2MP camera.
There is a fingerprint sensor along with face unlocking feature to enhance the security levels. There will be a 4000mAh battery which might support fast charging technology also. Well, we need to wait for a few days more to hear from the company about the the pricing and other specs of the same.
