Real me, Oppo’s sub-brand launched it’s Realme 1 smartphone in india. With the Realme 1 it seems that Oppo is focusing on essentials of a smartphone including the design that will make it stand apart from other smartphones. The smartphone features a diamond black finish back similar to the one seen on Oppo F7.
Specifications and Features
The device features a 6-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and support 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek MTK6771 CPU (also called as Helio P60) coupled with 3/6GB of RAM and 32/128GB internal storage. However, a middle variant will be available after 1 month with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Realme 1 has a dedicated SIM card slot and supports dual 4G.
On the camera front, the Realme 1 has a 13-megapixel primary camera with Phase Detect Autofocus (PDAF) and support for AI-based depth effect/ portrait mode. The selfie will be handled by an 8-megapixel front camera along with portrait mode. Both the cameras are also equipped with AI powered AR stickers. The Realme 1 runs on Color OS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and also support face unlock.
However, it is quite shocking that Oppo’s Realme 1 lacks a fingerprint sensor. To lit the screen, the device has a 3,410mAh battery and use micro USB port for charging.
“Today, young consumers prefer a better phone design that represents their different but real personalities. They are looking for an affordable price option without compromising on the built-quality and the device performance,” said Madhav Seth, Chief Executive Officer, Realme India, ahead of the launch.
Price & Availability
The Real me 1 is priced at ₹ 8,990 for the 3GB variant while the 6GB RAM variant costs you ₹13,990. The company also provide a 4GB RAM variant later this month and it will cost you ₹ 10,990. The Realme 1 is Amazon Exclusive and will be available from 25th of May.
Realme 1 seems to be focusing on essentials of a smartphone including a design that will make it stand apart from other smartphones, especially Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 pro. And it seems that Realme 1 has something in it.
