Recently Nokia unveiled its Nokia 8.1 in China as Nokia X7 and the same smartphone was also listed in ARCore supported devices last week. It is expected to come with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Now there are some reports that claim that the handset is heading to the Indian market soon and is likely to be priced at Rs. 23,999.

There is no official confirmation from Nokia but, according to the retail sources, the device is set to be launching in the country on November 28th. According to the recent listing on Google’s ARCore, we can confirm the device will support AR. The listing on Geekbench and NCC filing in Taiwan has confirmed the existence of the handset and is also confirmed that it will be unveiled soon but no date has been announced officially yet.

If the Nokia X7 is the Nokia 8.1, then it will come with a 6.18-inch Full HD+ screen along with Android Oreo operating system out of the box. There will be a Snapdragon 710 SoC on board with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

There will be a 13MP primary camera sensor on the rear along with a 12MP secondary camera with a LED flash. For selfies there will be a 20MP camera and gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for enhancing the security. There will be a 3,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging technology and will be offering 4G VoLTE connectivity along with Dual SIM connectivity. Let’s wait and see for few more days, if the company gives any official word on the same. Till then take these details with a pinch of salt!
