Microsoft is conducting a virtual Windows event on the 24th of June.
This online event is expected to be a huge event where Microsoft will reveal all the new updates coming with the “next generation of Windows”.
What does the Microsoft CEO has to say ?
At the big Microsoft event to be held on 24th June, the CEO Satya Nadella and Chief Product Office Panos Panay will actually reveal what is called as the “next generation of Windows”.
During the Build 2021 developer conference, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella teased the coming of a Windows update that will provide economic opportunities to the developers and creators.
“Soon we will share one of the most significant updates to Windows of the past decade to unlock greater economic opportunity for developers and creators. I’ve been self-hosting it over the past several months, and I’m incredibly excited about the next generation of Windows,” said Nadella.
The “next generation of Windows”:
The upcoming Windows update is codenamed as ‘Project Sun Valley‘ internally.
Microsoft is expected to bring an update in the user interface with refreshed layout, system icons, app designs along with a completely new Windows app store.
In addition, the company is also expected to make connecting options and managing wireless audio devices options easier.
The Redmond, software giant was previously expected to come up with a lightweight operating system, the Windows 10X.
However it features are now excepted to come along with the upcoming Windows update.
Microsoft usually used to come up with new Windows version after every three to four years, however this time Microsoft is finally launching a new Windows update after six years.
The virtual Microsoft event will live stream for the viewers starting at 11 am ET i.e 8:30 pm IST on 24th June.
