Apple has announced an all-new iPad Air and an updated iPad Mini, which come with the latest Apple A12 Bionic chipset with its Neural Engine, and support for Apple Pencil.
Apple iPad Air (2019) and iPad Mini (2019) Pricing and Availability in India
Both new iPads will be available in Indian from next week in two storage configurations, 64GB and 128GB. The iPad Mini (2019) is priced at Rs 34,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 45,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model, while the 10.5-inch iPad Air (2019) is priced at Rs 44,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 55,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. Both will be available through Apple Authorised Resellers and select carriers in silver, space grey and gold color options.

The iPad Air comes with a 10.5 inch Retina display with True Tone technology. Company claims that A12 Bionic chipset offers a 70 percent boost in performance and twice the graphics capability as compared to the last gen iPad Air.
On the other hand, the iPad Mini (2019), as the name suggests comes with a small 7.9-inch Retina display with True Tone support. The iPad mini has 25 percent brighter panel and has the highest pixel density on any iPad.
Talking about the cameras, both the devices have the 8-megapixel f/2.4 primary camera, and a 7MP f/2.2 front camera.
Both these iPads have Touch ID and not the face ID. Coming to the battery department, the iPad Air comes with a 30.2 wHr lithium‑polymer battery, while the iPad Mini has a 19.1 wHr lithium-polymer battery. Both batteries are rated to deliver up to 10 hours of surfing the web on Wi-Fi, watching video or listening to music and up to 9 hours of web surfing using cellular data. However, we are eagerly waiting to test the batteries of these pads, so no initial comments!
Apple iPad Air (2019) and iPad Mini (2019) Smart Covers
Alongside new iPad mini and a new 10.5-inch iPad Air, Apple also launched new Smart Covers for each device line. The cover for the iPad Mini will be available for Rs 3,500 and Rs 3,700 for iPad Air in charcoal gray, white, pink sand and papaya.
