Itel, one of the subsidiary of Transsion Holdings, today, expanded its portfolio in India by launching the S42 and A44 devices. The new range of smartphones offer an impressive viewing experience as they come equipped with features designed to keep pace with an individual’s digital lifestyle needs. The S42 and A44 devices will be available across key markets from 20th March 2018. The S42 comes with a price tag of Rs. 8,499 while the A44 is priced at INR 5,799.
Specifications of the Itel S42
The Itel S42 comes equipped with 5.65-inch display with 18:9 HD+ resolution. According to the company, the device is designed to provide a full screen display experience.
The smartphone has dual flash 13MP PDAF rear & 13 MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens clubbed with 120-degree wide selfie angle and the bokeh beauty mode. Company claims that the device can capture crisper and brighter images in low lighting conditions too.
Under the hood, the device has Snapdragon 425 SoC clocked at 1.4 Ghz. The device is powered by Android Oreo out of the box. The sleek device houses a 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage for smooth performance.
At the rear you’ll get a fingerprint scanner and it can do a lot of extra things for you too, like, answering-recording calls, taking pictures, control alarm clock, etc. The phone also supports face recognition and has a dedicated SIM card slot. The device is armed with a 3000mAh Li-polymer battery and can lit the screen on up to 16 days on standby.
Specifications of the A44
The A44 smartphone houses a 5.45-inch screen with 18:9 ultra thin bezels. The device is light in weight and effortlessly fits into users’ palm. Running on Android Nougat the device is powered by MT6737M 64-bit quad core processor. This device is also equipped with a multi-functional fingerprint scanner. The device has only 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage.
