Huawei has already unveiled the P20 Lite unveiled in a few European countries. And now, the same has been launched as Nova 3e in China. However, the device is not exactly the same. Huawei has improved the selfie snapper to make it more competitive against the brands like OPPO and Vivo. The device comes in Black, Gold, Pink, and Blue color options. The Huawei Nova 3e is priced at 1999 Yuan for the 64GB of storage and the one with 128GB of storage is priced at 2199 Yuan.
The Nova 3e comes with 2.5D curved glass back body. On the front it houses a 5.84-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) display with 19: 9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core processor clocked at 2.36GHz paired with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU along with 4GB of RAM. The device includes a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of the storage upto 256GB.
In the terms of Optics, the Nova 3e sports a 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup with f/2.2 aperture and a 24MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 out of the box. There is a fingerprint scanner and face recognition feature for unlocking the device. It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that also supports 9V/2A (18W) fast charging.
The Nova 3e measures 148.6×71.2×7.4 mm and weighs 145 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. Next week, Huawei will be launching the flagship P20 and P20 Pro smartphones with the similar display size and iPhone X like notch on the front. Till then stay tuned and stay updated!
