Ahead of the launch of the Redmi 6 Pro on Tuesday, Xiaomi on it’s Weibo account posted some camera samples of the mid-range device.
The Redmi 6 Pro has a dual rear camera setup consists of a 12MP 1.25um pixel sensor + 5MP sensor. It also has some AI backed features such as AI beauty mode and AI portrait mode.
The pictures are not very great but they are not bad at the same time. As you can see in the sample shots down below that daylight shots really stand out when compared to the low light shots. The Redmi 6 Pro will be the first phone from company to come with a notch and if you don’t like it, you will be able to hide it with a simple toggle. It sports a display of 5.84-inches and has a 2280 x 1080 resolution. It is powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor paired with either 2GB, 3GB, or 4GB of RAM. RAM configurations are still unknown to us. So take these configurations with a pinch of salt.
The device packs a 4000mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based MIUI. It has a 5MP selfie snapper and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It has a micro USB port and does have a 3.5mm audio jack.
