Over the past few days, the Xiaomi MIX 2S has been in the news. Various aspects or i should say features of the phone have already been leaked through multiple sources. The phone was rumoured to launch at the ongoing MWC 2018 exhibition, but now we’ll have to wait one more month to see the phone. Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has confirmed via a Weibo post that the Mi MIX 2S will be launched on March 27 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. He also revealed the launch poster for the phone revealing the phone’s AnTuTu score (2,73,741 points), which is higher than the AnTuTu scores of the upcoming smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Sony Xperia XZ2.
Going by the information that was revealed in the past leaks about the device, the Mi MIX 2S is expected to come with a four-sided curved ceramic body and a FullScreen 3.0 display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset is rumoured to be clocked at a speed of 2.8GHz. Moreover, rumours also suggest us that the Mi MIX 2S will come packed with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The optics of the device is expected to be handled by 12-megapixel dual rear-facing camera, with one featuring a 2x optical zoom. The phone is also expected to come with an on-screen fingerprint sensor, like the Vivo X20 Plus UD.
So that’s all what we know about the device. Apart from this smartphone, the smartphone company is also preparing for the launch of one another high-end smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 7. The high-end device is expected to have similar specifications like the MIX 2S, and it will also feature a FullScreen display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB of internal storage, and a dual-camera setup at its rear.
