Last week, Vivo officially announced that it’s V9 phone will launch in india on March 27th in Mumbai. Today, the manufacturer preponed the launch event to March 23rd without mentioning any reason. Specifications of the device are still unknown, however, the official teasers have revealed the first look.
Vivo already confirmed that the device will sport a 24MP selfie camera on the front and dual cameras on the rear. According to leaks, the smartphone is expected to feature a 6-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 90% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, we expect the device to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. Side bezels on the phone will measure just 1.75mm thickness.
As mentioned above, the device will mostly come with the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The V9 will run on the latest Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android Oreo. At the rear the device houses a dual camera module with 16MP + 5MP sensors (f/2.0 aperture), an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. The V9 will be armed by a 3,260mAh non-removable battery.
