In the first week of July, we came to know that Samsung is rumored to launch a new Galaxy On smartphone with Infinity display. Today, the company has officially confirmed to launch its new smartphone in India at 12:30 pm on July 2nd. The new Galaxy On smartphone will be Flipkart exclusive. It will be the first On-series device to come with Samsung’s Super AMOLED Infinity display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
Recently, Samsung launched the Galaxy J6, Galaxy J8, Galaxy A6, and Galaxy A6+ smartphones with the Infinity display. And now it’s On series will also join the Infinity display race. From the teaser videos, the upcoming device looks pretty much similar to the Galaxy J6 and J8 smartphones. You can find the power button and loudspeaker on the right edge, while the volume rocker and SIM card tray are on the left edge.
At the rear, we spot a single rear camera with LED flash and just below it you’ll have a rectangular fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, we expect the company to use either Exynos 7570 or Exynos 7870 as processor.
As of now, there is no information about the hardware and software specifications of the upcoming Galaxy On device. As the launch date is less than a week away, we can expect to see a few leaks in the coming days. So stay tuned to The Unbiased Review for more details!
