Poco has been teasing the Rosso Red edition of its Poco F1 smartphone from couple of days. The Poco F1 is a killer device offering Snapdragon 845 chipset under such a great price. Earlier the smartphone was available in Steel Blue, Graphite Black and Armoured Edition with Kevlar back. Now a Red Edition is also launching and will be available from a starting price of 20,999 via Flipkart and Mi.com at 12 AM on 11th October.
As far as specs are concerned, the POCO F1 sports a 6.18-inch 2246 × 1080 pixels (Full HD+) display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass on top, along with 1500:1 contrast ratio. There is also Corning Gorilla glass protection to protect the handset from minor falls and scratches.
Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with eight cores, coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. It will come with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with MIUI 9 laid on top which could be upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie.
The device will be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM options along with 64GB / 128GB and 256GB storage options which can be further extended up to 256GB via microSD via Hybrid SIM slot.
In the camera department, the Poco F1 has a 12MP rear-facing SONY IMX363 sensor with dual LED flash and f/1.9 aperture and a secondary 5MP camera with Samsung sensor. On the front, we can find a 20MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture size. The device also has a Fingerprint sensor, as well as IR face, unlock also to enhance the security levels.
The smartphone is powered with 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0 fast charging support and has a USB Type-C connector.
