A week after the OPPO F9 and F9 Pro are leaked online, the company now officially posted the teaser of the upcoming OPPO F9 Pro smartphone. Oppo also tweeted a post in twitter and it says- “Explore a brand new vision with #OPPOF9Pro.”
From the short clip teased by Oppo, we spotted a small V-shaped notch on the top of the device. With the Find X, the company introduced a complete bezel-less display with 93.8% screen-to-body ratio. And with this V-shaped notch screen, Oppo will certainly achieve a similar screen-to-body ratio. Obviously, it will be lower than this but can be someehere around 91.5%.
Oppo is calling this V-shaped notch display as a waterdrop screen. The device comes with glass back body and sports dual cameras on the rear. Just like the earlier launched OPPO F-series devices, the upcoming OPPO F9 and F9 Pro will also come with mid-range specifications. Though notch display and vertically aligned dual rear cameras are common these days, but with the V-shaped notch display, the F9 Pro will surely stand out from the crowd.
The device should be running on Android 8.1 Oreo based ColorOS 5.1 out of the box. With the F9 Pro, the company is also introducing the VOOC flash charge technology in the F-series devices and is said to give 2 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charging. Oppo might also ditch the fingerprint sensor on this device going by Company’s trend. Like earlier Oppo devices this will also completely depend on the face unlock feature.
