A week after launching the Nova 3 and Nova 3i smartphones in China, Huawei launched both of them today in India. Both the devices are Amazon Exclusive and will be on sale starting August 7th.
The Huawei Nova 3 with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at Rs 34,999 and comes in stylish colour options like Irish Purple and Glossy Black. This flagship by company will go on sale on 23rd of August via Amazon. The little one i.e., Huawei Nova 3i is powered by the newly announced Kirin 710 chipset is priced at Rs 20,999. It comes with 4GB of RAM.
Huawei Nova 3
The Huawei Nova 3 is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset. It is the third-gen device in the high-end Nova series from Huawei. Just like its predecessors, the new Nova 3 also comes with premium looking design and awesome specifications.
It comes with 3D curved glass rear and will be available in gradient Purple, Black, Blue, and Gold color options. Nova 3 sports a 6.3-inch IPS notch display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio.
As mentioned earlier, the smartphone comes with HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU and a dedicated NPU. The device also supports the newly announced GPU Turbo technology. The processor is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via a MicroSD card slot.
In terms of Optics, the device sports 16MP RGB sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 24MP Monochrome sensor with f/1.8 aperture. Selfies are handled by a 24MP + 2MP dual camera setup with f/2.0 aperture. The Nova 3 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2 and is backed by a 3,750mAh battery. It also supports fast charging using the USB Type-C port. While there is a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, the device also supports face unlock option. It measures 157.0 × 73.7 × 7.3 mm and weighs 166 grams.
Huawei Nova 3i
In terms of design Nova 3i looks similar to the Nova 3 but there are a few noticeable changes. Though the device comes with the glass back body, but it actually sports 2.5D curved on the front and rear.
As it is a cheaper variant, the specifications of the device are trimmed to make it a bit more affordable. The Nova 3i sports a 6.3-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. As mentioned earlier, it comes powered by the all-new Kirin 710 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The device comes in 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB storage variants.
You can further expand storage using a MicroSD card slot. Just like the Nova 3, the Nova 3i also comes with Android Oreo based EMUI 8.2 out of the box and also supports GPU Turbo technology. In the camera department, the device sports 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup and 24MP + 2MP dual front camera setup. It is powered by a 3,340mAh battery and measures 157.6 × 75.2 × 7.6 mm. It weighs 169 grams and will be available in Black, White, and Purple color options.
Launch offers
As mentioned earlier, the Huawei Nova 3 is priced at Rs. 34,999, and the smartphone goes on sale in India on August 23. For Nova 3i, buyers will have to shell out Rs. 20,990 and sale will commence on August 7. Both the handsets will be Amazon exclusive in the country. Pre-orders for the two models will start today at 2:00 P.M. Launch offers include no-cost EMIs, extra Rs. 2,000 off on exchange, and Rs. 1,000 cashback on pre-booking. Jio customers will also get cashback of Rs. 1,200 and 100GB complementary data.
