OPPO launched three cell phones under the F5 series with the new 18:9 display. Now, the company is all set to launch another 18:9 smartphone in the Indian market. OPPO will launch the OPPO A83 smartphone which was launched last month in China.
As per our trusted sources, the OPPO A83 will cost Rs. 13,990 and goes on sale from January 20th.
Much like other OPPO devices, the new OPPO A83 also accompanies a metal unibody design. It sports a 5.7-inch IPS display with HD+ (1440 × 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect proportion. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P 23 octa-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz. The smartphone packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal capacity that can be expandable up to 128GB through a MicroSD card.
In the camera division, the OPPO A83 has a 13MP back camera with LED flash and a 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The OPPO A83 keeps running on Android 7.1 Nougat based ColorOS out of the box. We don’t anticipate that the organization will discharge the Android 8.0 Oreo update at any point in the near future. It is upheld by a 3,180mAh non-removable battery that might give at least a single day usage on full charge.
Oppo completely detached the fingerprint sensor from this smartphone. Rather, OPPO is offering a Face Unlock feature to open the gadget using facial recognition. Connectivity alternatives include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm sound jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 150.5 × 73.1 × 7.7 mm and weighs 143 grams.
