The two Chinese smartphone brands, OnePlus and Oppo have officially integrated.
These brands have already collaborated several times in the past. Consequently, the OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has now finally announced their official integration with Oppo.
Integration of OnePlus and Oppo:
The integration of OnePlus and Oppo was announced by Pete Lau. It was through an official blogpost on the OnePlus Forum explaining the upcoming results of this integration.
The two brands will be sharing their resources with each other for faster software updates and better products.
According to the OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, the past collaborations that happened between OnePlus and Oppo have resulted into positive outcomes.
Considering the positive outcomes, the company therefore decided to further integrate deeply with Oppo.
The OnePlus CEO said the following in the blogpost, “I’m confident that this change will be positive for our community and our users. With this deeper integration with OPPO, we will have more resources at hand to create even better products for you.”
However even after the official integration, OnePlus and Oppo will continue to operate separately in the market.
The integration between these two brands won’t stop them to operate individually in the market. Pete Lau said that OnePlus will continue to launch its products via events and operate through the OnePlus channels itself.
Subsequently, the rumours and leaks suggest that the OnePlus Nord 2 is going to launch very soon.
Although, the launch date is not yet out, this OnePlus smartphone will be the first product after the OnePlus and Oppo integration. Rumours also suggest that the OnePlus Nord 2 will come as a rebranded version of the Oppo Reno 6.
There are no confirmations about the same from the company, but the integration between these two brands is something that is officially. Along with this integration, users can expect stable and faster software updates and well designed better products.
