Today, Huawei has launched its much anticipated smart watch, the Huawei Watch GT 2. The smart watch offers features like, 2 weeks of battery life (in single charge), Bluetooth calling and in-device music. The watch is launched in two variants in 42mm (with 1.2 inch AMOLED display) and 46mm variant (with 1.39 inch AMOLED display).
The Huawei Watch GT2 46mm Sport (Black) has been launched for Rs 15,990, while the Leather strap variant of the same costs you Rs 17,990 and the 46mm (Metal) costs for Rs 21,990.
Huawei offers the 42 mm variant specifically for retail markets at Rs.14,990. Though the availability and offers and not announced yet.
Other than the Super Amoled Screen and beautiful design, the GT-2 houses a Kirin A1 Chipset, according to Huawei it will help to improve the battery life. The Kirin A1 chipset also integrates an advanced Bluetooth processing unit, a powerful audio processing unit, an ultra-low power consumption application processor and a separate power management unit.
The GT-2 is compatible with 15 sports including eight outdoor sports (running, walking, climbing, hiking trail running, cycling, open water, triathlon) and seven indoor sports (walking, running, cycling, swimming pool, free training, elliptical machine, rowing machine). In terms of heart rate monitoring, the user will be notified if heart rate is above 100bpm or below 50bpm for more than 10 minutes. The watch is also powered with sleep monitoring function.
The watch will be available on Flipkart, Amazon, Croma and other leading retail stores. And as a part of the pre-sale activity, the customers can book the watch from 12 a.m. onwards, from December 12th to 18th, 2019 and they will get a Huawei Freelace worth MRP 6999 free. However, they are required to make the full payment for the watch at the time of booking.
