Asus has launched its Max M2 midrange smartphone in the country today along with the Zenfone Max Pro M2.
Asus ZenFone Max M2 Price and Availability
The base variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage is priced at Rs.9,999, whereas the higher-end version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 11,999.
The ZenFone Max M2 comes in Blue and Black, and will go on sale from December 20, exclusively on Flipkart.
Specifications
The device packs exactly the same rear panel design as the ZenFone Max Pro M1 and the new display with a notch on the front.
The ZenFone Max M2 features the same 6.3-inch IPS LCD display as the Max Pro M2. But, the resolution here has been bumped down to 1520×720 pixels.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 632 SoC, which is a step up from the Snapdragon 430 chipset from the ZenFone Max M1. It’s the same chipset that we have recently seen in the Honor 8C. The ZenFone Max M2 comes only in 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
In terms of Optics, the ZenFone Max M2 includes a dual rear-camera module with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor, along with an 8MP camera for selfies. The biggest change, however, is that you don’t have to work on ZenUI now, in fact you’ll get the almost stock Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the box.
You’ll get a 4000mAh battery and a rear facing fingerprint sensor along with usual set of connectivity options.
