Zenfone Max Pro M1 was a significant launch for Asus, though with all its power, Asus was not able to compete with the Xiaomi. But today, Asus has launched the Max Pro M2 which is a mind boggling device.
Price and Availability
The base variant (3GB+32GB) of the ZenFone Max Pro M2 has been priced at Rs 12,999, whereas the 4GB + 64GB version is priced at Rs 14,999, and the highest-end variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 16,999.
The ZenFone Max Pro M2 comes in Blue and Titanium color, and will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart from December 18.
Specifications
Unlike Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 6 Pro, the Max Pro M2 is a true successor of the Max Pro M1 and brings along quite a lot of changes in tow. The smartphone now comes in a glass-like finish on the back and features a notched display on the front.
The ZenFone Max Pro M2 sports a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD screen, with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels and 94 percent NTSC color gamut. The device is protected by Gorilla Glass 6 on top, which is impressive in its price segment.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset, which is a step up from the Snapdragon 636 SoC on the ZenFone Max Pro M1. The SoC is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
ZenFone Max Pro M2 has a dual rear-camera module, with a 12MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor, along with a 13MP (f/2.0) selfie camera. There’s an LED flash available both on the front and rear.
The 5000mAh battery and stock Android type UI (Android 8.1) is carried over from the M1. Connectivity options are usual you can also spot a fingerprint sensor on the rear.
