Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi is all set to launch New Redmi Smartphone in India on 14th February. Teaser invitation suggests Number 5. Xiaomi has already introduced Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in China. As of now, there is no details, but we expect Xiaomi can launch Redmi Note 5 or Redmi 5, 5 Plus.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 has a 5.7-inch display smartphone, with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels, powered by Snapdragon 450 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, the device also has 3/4GB RAM options along with 32GB of internal storage. In terms of Camera, it has a 12 megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera and is packed with a 3300mAh Battery.
Xiaomi’s Redmi 5 Plus feature a 5.99-inch Full HD+ ( 2160×1080 pixels ) Display and is powered by 2.0GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 625 Processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device also has an option of 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage. This dual SIM device will run on Android 7.1.2 with MIUI 9 on the top. In Camera department, it has a 12MP Rear Camera and a 5MP front camera and has a 4000mAh Battery.
In China, Xiaomi Redmi 5 is priced at 799 Yuan for 2GB RAM and 899 Yuan for 3GB RAM. On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is priced at 999 Yuan for 3GB RAM and 1299 Yuan for 4GB RAM. Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus comes in Black, Light Blue, Gold and Rose Gold color variants.
