Xiaomi’s year first flagship device is expected to go official on March 27. Ahead of that date, Xiaomi in its usual fashion has been sending out a couple of teasers aiming towards the features of the smartphone. A couple of hours ago, the tech giant teased with a GIF image on Weibo. The image teased indicates the presence of an AI Camera. The latest teaser is that of a dual camera setup but this isn’t just any normal camera combo. The teaser suggests the two camera sensors can function independently as it shows one Circle and one Square.
The Mi MIX2S is expected to sport Sony IMX 363 sensor at the main camera and some of the features of the camera had earlier leaked via the Mix 2S firmware files. The camera sensors is said to come with the capability to identify various kinds of scenes such as document, flower, food, sky, sunrise/sunset, cat, dog, green plants, night, snow, sea, autumn, candlelight, car, grass, maple leaves, succulent, building, city, cloud, overcast and backlight.
The tech giant earlier revealed the device’s AnTuTu listing, indicating that it’ll feature a Snapdragon 845 chipset and this could be paired with 8GB of RAM. We expect more teasers from Xiaomi as the days passes.
