Recently, Xiaomi launched the Mi TV 4 in India. And due to its popularity Xiaomi has planned to launch a few more TVs in the market.
About 2 days ago, Xiaomi India teased the upcoming TV launch and now we have another info. regarding that. Yesterday, Xiaomi Mi LED Smart TV 4C has appeared on the Mi.com online store ahead of the March 7 announcement. Although the page is not yet available, the TV is visible in the store section, and that too on sale.
The Mi LED Smart TV 4C is the smaller sibling of the Mi TV 4 launched last month in India. It has a smaller 43-inch display against the massive 55-inch panel on the Mi LED Smart TV 4. The 4C also has 1080p resolution with no HDR support while the “4” supports both 4K as well as HDR.
The television is priced at INR 27,999, which is again competitive. Xiaomi’s key differentiator will be the smart TV functionality similar to that one present on the bigger model. Xiaomi has tie-ups with various content providers in India and also has integration with set top box systems, which should make it more appealing than its competitors. The Mi TV 4C bears a full-HD 43-inch display, 1GB RAM, 8GB of storage, a quad-core Amlogic T962 64-bit processor, and supports connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5 GHz dual band Wi-Fi), Bluetooth 4.2, Dolby, and DTS Audio. The Mi TV 4C sports a blue light-reducing mode to reduce eye strain. Other television expected to be announced is the Xiaomi’s cheapest and smallest TV yet – the 32-inch Mi TV 4A. It was launched at CNY 1,099 approx. Rs. 11,300, and will probably be the highlight of Wednesday’s launch- 7th March.
