Motorola Defy 2021, a rugged smartphone has officially launched. The launch came soon after the specifications of this smartphone were leaked online.

Motorola partnered with the Bullitt Group, a UK-based rugged phone maker and the Motorola Defy 2021 comes as a part of this partnership.

This smartphone comes with IP68 and a dual-sealed housing to survive under water for 35 minutes.

The Motorola Defy 2021 is also sand, dust and humidity resistant. The smartphone is capable of surviving in extreme temperatures and is a military standard certified smartphone. Additionally, the Motorola Defy 2021 can also hold out against drops from up to 6 ft.

Battery– 5,000mAh with 20W TurboPower charge

As of now, the Motorola Defy 2021 runs on Android 10 but the company claims that Android 11 will soon roll out.

It is a dual-SIM smartphone that supports only Nano-SIM cards and comes along with a dedicated micro SD card slot.

Motorola claims that the battery can last up to two days with a single charge. The Motorola Defy 2021 is launched in Europe and South American countries.

The smartphone comes at a price of € 329 (approximately Rs 29,000/-) in Europe and GBP 279 (approximately Rs 28,700/-) in South American countries.

However, there is no news about the availability of the new Motorola Defy 2021 in international markets including India.
