On Tuesday, Xiaomi held 2017 Annual Meeting for MIUI division to conclude last year’s work and plan for the year 2018.
“The development for MIUI 10 officially starts today,” said Hong Feng, Co-Founder and the Vice President of Xiaomi who leads the MIUI division at the event.
MIUI 9 was announced on 26th July 2017 last year along with Mi 5X launch. MIUI 9 aims to provide a lightning fast system and offer a great user experience in terms of stability, smoothness, better battery backup.
Mr Feng also added- “At the same time, we are also trying our best to gradually release the global ROM update for other devices too.”
At the meetup, Xiaomi also announced that it will successfully upgrade 40 Xiaomi Devices to MIUI 9 including the Xiaomi Mi 2, Mi 2s, and Redmi 1s.
