Kia Motors hosted the world premiere of its first car for India –Seltos. The indigenously manufactured, Seltos comprises of contemporary and stylish design with plush interiors.

Performance:

Kia Seltos comes equipped with Smartstream, a third-gene BS VI powertrain developed for high efficiency and powerful performance.

The car gets multiple driving modes as well namely, Normal, Eco and Sport mode.

Design:

The design is definitely the talking point of the Seltos. It’s not like the competition (Boring and almost same), rather a new yet attractive approach. From the front fascia, Seltos has a wide Signature Tiger Nose Grille, the muscular shoulder line. At rear, it has full LED lights making it look bold and confident all-round. The stunning 17-inch crystal cut alloys compliment the side profile of the Seltos and give it a powerful stance.

Among other cool touches are the 3D-effect multi-layer turn indicators, ‘Ice Cube’ fog lamps and a knurled finish for the silver grille surrounds.

Interior:

There aren’t many details about the interiors, but we’ll tell you everything we get to know. The cabin is appeared to be top-notch with a 10.25-inch screen on the dashboard. It seems like the car has ventilated seats as there are switches on the centre console. There’s also a sunroof and a 360-degree surround view camera.

Kia Seltos comes equipped with the globally famous UVO connect, an advanced connected car technology which offers an array of convenience and safety features. It is more or less equal to Hyundai’s BlueLink technology. The UVO boasts 37 smart features under five distinct categories i.e. Navigation, Safety and Security, Vehicle Management, Remote Control and Convenience. The UVO facility will be free for the first three years for its users.

In addition, Kia has confirmed the Seltos will come with rain-sensing wipers, auto headlights, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, and there will be at least two interior colour schemes on offer – all-black and a combination of beige-and-black.
