Kawasaki Vulcan S 2018
Derived from the undefeated Ninja 650, the Vulcan S is Kawasaki’s powerful and reliable cruiser. The first generation Vulcan, the Vulcan VN700A created its debut in 1984 with Kawasaki’s initial V-twin engine. The cruiser has received multiple updates since then. The bike maker categorizes it as a bike-for-all, highlight its straightforward riding triangle, sleek engine and linear power delivery.
There is plenty to love regarding the manner Vulcan S looks. From its elliptical headlamp to its top-notch paint, the LED taillights, the stylish and easy-to-clean mag wheels and also the trendy instrument cluster.
The cruiser gets a 27.8-inch seat height for a simple reach to the bottom, a little 14-litre fuel tank, and a slender chassis with exhaust pipes running beneath it. It is available with a regular handlebar that’s an inch nearer to the rider as compared to the earlier version.
Kawasaki is giving as many as 3 completely different seats and footpeg positions as choices with the cruiser under their Ergo-Fit program. This program is a component of the company’s effort to accommodate riders of every size, be it short, medium or tall. Also, brake and clutch levers are each adjustable.
It is supercharged by a similar 649 cc, two-cylinder engine from the jazzy Ninja 650. However the engines have been tuned specifically for a cruiser-like power delivery with a lot of bottom-end torque at a less-frenetic engine tempo and all smart tweaks for a relaxed cruising ride.
Price – 5.77 Lakh On-Road
