Huawei will be launching the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro smartphones on October 16th in London. At the IFA 2018, Huawei also announced the HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset built using TSMC’s 7nm FinFET technology. Huawei also confirmed the Mate 20 smartphones are going to be the world’s first devices to use the 7nm SoC. At the IFA 2018, the Mate 20 Pro spotted with triple camera setup on the rear. However, unlike the P20 Pro the camera setup is a bit squarish.

Now, the latest leak hints the Mate 20 Pro to come with 40W fast charging support. Huawei’s subsidiary, Honor has also confirmed the upcoming Honor Magic 2 smartphone to support 40W fast charging. Oppo is already offering 50W Super VOOC flash charge with the newly launched OPPO R17 Pro.

The device will come with wireless charging feature and support up to 15W power input by using a compatible wireless charger. As seen on the Mate RS, the Mate 20 devices will also support 3D structured lightning which might be used for 3D mapping.While there is no confirmation about the prices, but we expect the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro to be priced around 3999 Yuan (approx.
