OPG Mobility (formerly Okaya EV) has announced the appointment of Maharana Ray as its new President & Chief Growth Officer (CGO). With over two decades of experience in the electric mobility and energy sectors, Mr. Ray will be instrumental in scaling OPG Mobility’s EV business, including the Ferrato and OTTOOPG brands, while leading strategic expansion efforts in India and global markets.

Driving the Next Phase of Growth

In his new role, Mr. Maharana Ray will oversee the growth strategy for OPG Mobility’s EV brands – Ferrato and OTTOOPG – and will spearhead initiatives around sales, marketing, distribution, and strategic alliances. His responsibilities will also include building retail and service capabilities across India and global markets, with a clear focus on expanding the electric mobility value chain.

A veteran with over two decades of experience across the automotive, electric mobility, and energy sectors, Mr. Ray is recognized for driving business transformation and scaling operations. Prior to this, he served as Vice President at Chetak Electric (Bajaj Auto), where he led successful pan-India expansion through strategic planning, network development, and customer experience programs.

A Visionary Leader with Global Expertise

Mr. Ray’s extensive experience across 16 international markets and deep knowledge of Sales, Service, Spares, Channel Management, and HR make him uniquely suited for the CGO role. He is an alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, and has undergone executive leadership training at IIM Ahmedabad.
