Kinetic DX EV Marks Iconic Comeback in the Indian Two-Wheeler Market
The iconic Kinetic brand is back in action with the launch of the Kinetic DX EV, a smart electric scooter that redefines nostalgia with modern innovation. Introduced by Kinetic Watts and Volts Ltd. (KWV)—the EV arm of Kinetic Engineering Ltd. (KEL)—the Kinetic DX EV blends the timeless silhouette of the legendary DX with futuristic features, all built in India.
The Kinetic DX EV range includes two variants: the DX and DX+, priced at ₹1,11,499 and ₹1,17,499 (ex-showroom, Pune) respectively. With bookings now open at just ₹1,000 on kineticev.in, the first 35,000 units are available for pre-order, and deliveries begin in September 2025.

Reliable Power Meets Cutting-Edge Technology
Under the hood, the Kinetic DX EV is powered by a 2.6 kWh LFP battery developed by Range-X. Compared to NMC batteries commonly used in India, LFP offers up to 4x longer life with improved thermal safety and reliability. The DX+ variant delivers an IDC range of 116 km, enabled by Kinetic’s proprietary K-Coast regenerative braking and efficient 60V system.
