After the launch of Android 12 this year, Samsung is expected to launch its next gen phones with OS Update and One UI 4.0. This means some Samsung Galaxy devices will have One UI 4.0 based on Android 12. However, the company has not make it official which model will have, but this list is based on the update cycle that Samsung phones go through.
Those who don’t know, Samsung phones use One UI 3.1 based on Android 11. But the company has announced update of One UI 3.5 later this year.
This means that One UI 4.0 will play vital role. But not all Samsung Galaxy will enjoy this news. Some will be not eligible while for others this will be the last update. As confirmed by Samsung, some will continue to have these updates for four years.
Samsung Galaxy Series having UI 4.0
So, here come some models of Samsung Galaxy series which will have update of One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 after being launched:
- S10, S20 and S21
- Note 10 and Note 20
- Z Flip and Fold
- Tab S6 and S7
- X-cover
- Some model in F series like F12, F22, etc.
- M series like M12, M21, M31, M51, etc.
- S series like A01, A11, A31, A41, A21, etc.
Above list is not final and confirmed yet but they are expected to have One UI 4.0 based on Android 12.
Samsung has already confirmed about One UI 3.5 next month. This update however will be for all devices having One UI 3.0. Also, the Samsung Galaxy Z 3 series which will be launched next month, is expected to have this update.
